Mikaela is the 11-year-old daughter of Mark and Leigh Ann Brackney of Hays. In Mikaela’s quest for the Jr. Miss Rodeo Plainville crown, Beond Salon & Day Spa, Sew Easy Bernina, John Pyle Insurance Agency, Auto World and Brackney Construction & Supply sponsored her. Other than rodeo, Mikaela’s favorite sport is volleyball. She is an active member of Liberty Fellowship, helping with the children’s church. She participates in 4-H and belongs to a knitting club as well. Mikaela’s future goals are to attend Kansas State University and study to be a vet or teacher. She also hopes to have a ranch of her own someday.
