PLAINVILLE RODEO PAGEANT CLINIC
$20 per day or $30 for the weekend
Lunch provided on Saturday - guests or parents of clinic participants can RSVP for lunch for an additional $4 each.


SATURDAY, APRIL 19 - SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

8:45 to 9 a.m. Registration – PLAINVILLE SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER (108 S. Jefferson)

Clothing Swap – Bring any clothing you’d like to sell or "swap" with other attendees.

Photo Session – Saturday be sure to wear your favorite ensemble with your cowboy hat to have your portrait taken and you can use this photo for competition. A group photo will be taken with Miss Rodeo America following all portrait photos. Photos are available on disk or by email from the pageant committee courtesy of Expressions by Sharris.

4:30 Clothes/Swap – Saturday’s Classes End

7:30 Grand Entry - 43rd Annual N.I.R.A. Rodeo in Hays
Following Saturday’s classes, Miss Rodeo America 2008, Amy Wilson will be performing at the 43rd Annual N.I.R.A Rodeo in Hays. The rodeo begins 7:30pm at the Doug Philip Arena located on US183 By-Pass just west of Fort Hays State University.

SUNDAY, APRIL 20 - SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Horsemanship classes – Instructors: Pageant Committee
(Miss Rodeo America 2008, Amy Wilson, will not be in attendance for Sunday’s classes.)

  • Proper Equitation & Safety
  • Performing Patterns for Competition
  • Practice Queen’s Run

10am to Noon – Princess age division

Lunch on your own.

1pm to 5pm – Queen age division

You are welcome to attend with or without a horse. Classes are divided by age with the princess division in the morning and the queen division in the afternoon. Participants are welcome to stay for both sessions. Free arena time during lunch and after the last session of the day.
